Stress, Mental Health and Resilience: A Trauma-informed Approach

$ 59.00

Stress is universal, but unmanaged stress quietly erodes health, safety, and performance. This course helps participants understand how the brain responds under pressure, including the fight–flight–freeze cycle, and reframes resilience as a healthier pathway forward. By normalizing emotional responses and defenses, we reduce stigma, and participants learn the importance of shifting from burnout to balance and taking proactive steps toward wellbeing.

This course equips individuals with the insight and tools needed to identify and understand stress, respond effectively with compassion (for self and others), to protect both health and wellbeing.

Ideal for anyone seeking to build resilience in the face of stress, frontline workers, team members, or leaders who want to better understand and support their people.

Key Walk-a-Ways:

  • Understand how stress affects health, behaviour, and performance
  • Recognize the fight–flight–freeze cycle and its role in trauma responses
  • Identify hidden coping patterns that undermine health, relationships, and contribute to burnout
  • Learn how resilience-based strategies restore focus, energy, and wellbeing
  • Understand the difference between past events and the body's present day reactions, and how the distinction supports a trauma informed approach in the workplace.

This course also qualifies for 7.5 CPD credits through the CCPA. Learners may download their CCPA certificate and submit it directly to the CCPA for registration.
